These past couple of weeks have been rather uneventful, but yet have been busy at the same time. Jason’s team went to the semi finals in church basketball. Yes. He’s a stud. I still swoon when I see him play, even in all his sweatiness. Dallin gets a kick out of watching him play too. He watches the entire game, wide eyed. I think we have a future Jimmer on our hands.
Dallin had his first brush with sickness this past week. He caught a cold. It killed me to see my poor baby sick. I took him to the doctor just to make sure it wasn’t something serious. While at the doctor, he had to get his pulse taken. They have this little claw device that clamps around their foot to take the pulse. Dallin’s feet are too chubby. They couldn’t get a good reading. I thought that was a little funny. His feet look like mine did when I was pregnant. (As a reminder, I have added a picture of what those atrocities
looked like.) His feet are so much fun to squish. =) The nurse had to get the reading from his hand instead. He did not care for that. In the examination room, he had a lot of fun with the crinkly paper that they put on the exam bed. He walked on it for like 15 minutes smiling at it the whole time. Where can I pick up some of that stuff for the house?
In other Dallin news, he is starting to master the art of sitting up. Way to go. He’s still a little wobbly, but he’s getting there. Pretty soon he will be mobile. Oh no! Time to baby proof the house.
