In our family, birthdays are a BIG DEAL so I thought we could celebrate a little. Since it has been six months since the birth of our beloved first born, we had a six month anniversary. It seems silly to have a six month birthday, but we enjoyed it and we think he did too. We got him a “present,” a walker which he hasn’t figured out how to use yet. He just sits in it expecting you to push him around. We had a ½ cake and ice cream. Dallin couldn’t quite partake of the cake, but we fed him some delicious squash and pears. Yum!
He sure is one spoiled little kid. He knows how to work the system too. He loves to scream to get people’s attention. If you’re not looking at him, he will scream. (I’m not talking about a squeal, this is a full blown scream) When you turn to look, he smiles. I’m not sure I’m a fan of that little game. He can get quite loud. I one time screamed at him to see what he would do. He was startled, frowned for a second or two and then when he saw that I was joking, he started laughing. Cute little squirt. If he pushes the limits now to get attention, what will he do when he is a terrible two? I shudder at the thought.
hahaha. That's so funny. :)
ReplyDeleteHow fun to have half-birthday parties! Adam keeps mentioning that we should do this but I don't keep good enough track of half-birthdays! Dallin is such a cutie.
ReplyDeleteAnd thanks for the birthday message on Facebook! It was so fun to hear from all my friends!
