Grandparents, Showers, Birthdays, Oh My!

So I've been AWOL for a few weeks. Sorry about that. With summer in full swing, a lot has been happening. Lets go chronologically. We went to Jason's Grandparents house in Tooele for dinner a few Sundays ago. We had a lot of fun.
Jason showed off his studliness shooting some hoops.*Swoon Swoon*

Dallin had his first encounter with horses. He thought they were pretty cool. (Side note: the puppies next door kept barking at him and squeaked back. Mucho cute. )

We rode around the block. Its been a LONG TIME since I've been on a horse. I was a bit rusty. When I say a bit, I actually mean a lot. But Dallin had fun chilling in the grass. I didn't mind hanging out with him instead of the horse.

The Monday following that, we went to the Days of 47 Rodeo. Sorry no pictures. Dallin did NOT have fun. I think it was too loud and dark for him to get comfortable. Oh well. Maybe next year. We still love him.

The weekend after that, we went to Lindsy's (Jason's brother's wife) baby shower. There were so many bows and flowers and pinks and purples. She is going to have one posh little tyke. I can't wait to be an aunt again.
Dallin liked playing with the balloons. (Jason did too)

He didnt like dressing up in frilly clothes though. Thats "mah" BOY!

On Sunday, my grandparents from California (Papa and Coach) were up visiting. We had a combined birthday bash for my sister, her husband, and my cousin. It was a lot of fun.

Jason liked playing "architect."

"Coach" humored me by letting me put this Kirby hat on him. They must love me or something.

A few days later, Papa and Coach took Dallin and I for lunch. Dallin loves his great grandparents.

He enjoyed Papa reading to him.

Oh, one more thing. Dallin had his first ear infection. It was hard seeing him and not being able to do anything to help. We went to the Dr. and they gave him some anti-biotics only to have him be allergic to them. He had a terrible rash for a couple of days, but we got another prescription and he seems to be on the mend. THANK GOODNESS!!! I hope he stays healthy for a while this time. But since he's mobile, he gets into everything. No matter how many times I disinfect our house, he manages to get dirty. Go figure.

Well that pretty much sums up the excitement 'round these parts. Hopefully it won't take me so long to write a new post, so I won't have to load so many pictures.
