I am blessed to be a mother

Last night, for my mothers day present, Jason took me out. He arranged for in laws to come over to watch dallin and surprised me with flowers, Tampico, King's Hawaiian sweet bread and a snickers bar (three of my guilty pleasures). It was so thoughtful. I was blown away at his thoughtfulness. Dallin even got me a card. I truly am blessed.

I love being a mom. Here are a few of the joys I have daily:
- I love waking up and seeing my little boy smile.
- I love when he is playing in my lap he looks back at me almost to say "I love you Mama."
- I love tickling his cute little tummy.
- I love the way he splashes in the tub getting everything, including me, wet.
- I love walking in the door from work and he gives me a huge Dallin smile.
- I love how after he is done eating in the morning, he always likes to cuddle for a minute or two.
- I love when little old ladies in church tell me how cute my son is. Even though I know he looks more like Jason than me. I made him too. It's still nice to know that people thinks he's cute.
- I love singing "the Wheels on the Bus" over and over and over.
- I love seeing my son sleep at the end of the day.

Being a mom has its rough times, but I'm so happy that Dallin is in our family for forever. Before he came, I never thought I was the mothering type. But after becoming one, I truly have a testimony of my worth as a mother, as well as Heavenly Fathers plan and the institution of families.

I didnt mean for this to be a novel, I just wanted to say how truly blessed I am. Since its been a while since I have added videos of our little guy, here are a few.

  1. Aww! Thanks for sharing! Dallin IS cute. He's gotten so big! And you have a very sweet husband.

And just for the record. This is no where CLOSE to a novel.
